Summit of Mt. Tapulao
Me at the summit of Mt. Tapulao that looks like you are at the summit of highest mountain in Luzon, Mt. Pulag.
The trail is wide for dump trucks hauling materials due to mining at the top of the mountain. It is generally made of sharp rocks and really will separate your sole and mountaineering shoes. The sole of my TNF Dhaulagiri was ripped off. After enduring the Mt. Apo (once), Mt. Kanlaon (twice), Mt. Pulag (twice) and Mt. Ugo (once), my TNF bid good bye. But not totally, thanks to Mr. Quickie, it is resurrected but no more waterproof.
